After hearing a story related to broad-based art themes in the Art ExperienCenter, families will participate in a corresponding activity and be provided with snacks. This program is perfect for families with children ages 5 and under.

Story Theatre Workshop: Tuesday, January 17th, 2012 and continues for 8 weeks at 3:30-5: 30PM at the Lincoln Public Library (http://www.lincolnpl.org/), 3 Bedford Road, Lincoln, MA 01773. From Noodleheads to Tricksters! For 3rd to 6th graders and taught by retired teacher/actress Sally Kindleberger. Create live theatre using silly stories and trickster tales. Learn many theatre skills, build creativity and imagination. Stories will be performed for school groups and families.
Starting Seeds: Saturday, February 18th, 2012 at Codman Farm (http://codmanfarm.org/), 58 Codman Road, Lincoln, MA 01773. Did you get some seeds at the seed swap? Or maybe you order a bunch from a catalog, but you don’t know whether you should start them in the house or wait for the spring to plant them outside. Come to our seedling workshop and we’ll discuss different techniques that have worked for gardener’s here at the farm. By the end of the workshop you’ll be ready to start those seeds in time for spring. (More details to come.)
